3D model
A digital representation of an object’s shape and optional appearance in three-dimensional space.
A 3D model may be represented as a polygon mesh, curves, voxels, parametric surfaces, or another structure. Geometry describes shape; materials and textures describe appearance; transforms position objects in a scene. A model file does not automatically include all data needed for manufacturing or a real-time application.
